Tom
Van Gunten
ed note: You know, it really is a strange sensation to finally SEE someone you have been communicating with via email; sometimes the visage gives you unusual feelings...upon site of Tom, I felt like I had just eaten my own liver. Senior Six Chief, William Gau sent this shot and the following comments; I believe this was supposed to be an "ode" to Mr. Van Gunten..something obviously went horribly wrong. "Tom is the one who started all this crap. If it wasn't for Tom, half the population east of the Mississippi would have normal, healthy, happy lives.Matrimonial bliss. More kids than Steve Good (another Bavaria owner -Senior Six compatriot), if that's possible. To the left is a picture of Tom pretending to work. The reason Tom looks like he's straining his lumbago is because he is straining his lumbago. That catastrophe behind Tom is Tom's garage. Tom says he can remove and replace an engine in a Bavaria in four hours. Two hours if the TV is off. I believe him. Without Tom, there would be no Senior Six Registry. For this alone he deserves to die. Without Tom, there would be no 1998 Octoberfest Superclean class show winner (results pending, of course); without Tom, I would have installed a hurst shifter in my Bavaria. Now I know better...." - William Gau back to [Bavaria Owners] page |
